TechnOT: Why OT’s need to be online
This earlier post on “Why OTs need to be online” links with today’s post on “Web searches feed health fears” this article claims that we are becoming cyberchondriacs!
If health professionals have a larger presence in the online world would this make this problem better or worse I wonder?

It would be interesting to know whether the people who were were worrying about the serious conditions their minor ailments could suggest actually then went to their GP or just worried about it to themselves? It seems to me that much of the health related information available on the internet is focused more on diagnoses than health care services.
